If Sarabeth's took over the world, every day would be a delirious brunchtime filled with lemon-ricotta pancakes and cheese blintzes. Imagine that! Sadly, they're still a ways away from world domination, but they're at least one step closer with the opening of this Tribeca outpost—their seventh location. The menu is filled with the same homey plates you'd find at the other spots (chicken pot pie, crab cakes, tomato soup), but this newest joint has two new things going for it. First, it's got a wood-fired oven, which will be churning out pizzas like fig and ricotta; bacon, potato and Gruyere; and prosciutto with arugula. Second (and to tippling diners, the best part!), it's the first Sarabeth's with a full bar and signature cocktails. Check out the white grape basil spritzer (with vodka and agave nectar) or the sage-apricot martini with Hendricks gin and lime juice. Sarabeth's Tribeca opens on Aug. 30. ( This Park Slope sammie joint, owned by the same folks behind Crespella, is all about pimping out their purveyors and earning their locavore stripes. There are meats from Ottomanelli Bros., sausages from Faicco's, charcuterie from Salumeria Biellesse and bread from Il Fornaretto—all NYC-based businesses. They're on full display in sandwiches like the massive, six-foot-long Autogrill (yes, you can actually order it that large) made with provolone, mortadella, capicola, soppressata, spicy Calabrian pepperoncino; and the less gargantuan Sixpoint beer–braised roast beef, with caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms and housemade mozzarella. The space's aesthetic ping-pongs between urban-rustic and butcher-chic, with tables made from reclaimed wood, exposed brick, vintage-looking signage and a sleek, white-tiled wall behind the counter. Cup Cake Recipe from Scratch

The ingredients are as follows: one-half cup softened Butter, one-half cup sugar, one-half cup self-rising flour, three eggs and one teaspoon of vanilla extract.

To start making your yummy filled cupcake recipes, pre-heat the oven to three-hundred and fifty degrees Fahrenheit (350 F). While waiting, line your pan with cup cake papers. You can also start beating the eggs lightly with a fork. And then, little by little add the other ingredients on the same bowl with the egg, and beat them again and again for two to three minutes. When they become light and creamy, that’s the time when you pour them to your cup cake pans. Bake them for eighteen to twenty (18-20) minutes until they become firm and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Next thing you need to do is to move them to wire cooling rack. The best part here is filling or icing the cupcakes after they have been fully cooled.

Cream Fill from Scratch

You can also make your own cream fill. The ingredients are as follows: 1/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup shortening, 2 cups powdered sugar, salt, 3 tablespoons milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

Start by beating the butter and shortening together until the mix becomes smooth. Next is to blend in the powdered sugar and a pinch of salt. Then you can now add 3 tablespoons of milk, one at a time and one teaspoon of vanilla. Beat after adding each spoon of milk and then continue to beat until it becomes fluffy and light. Next thing you need to do is to fill a pastry bag with a small tip. In filling your cupcakes, push tip through bottom of paper liner or you can target it unto the top of the cupcake to fill.
