Monster Energy-backed skater Tomas Vintr locks down 1st in Croatia contest

Tomas Vintr: It was a 4 minute jam format for the finals and i cant really remember all the tricks. I did a bs lipslide down the doubleset rail, crooks down the rail, flip bs nosegrind down a hubba, bs smith down a hubba, bs tailslide down the hubba, bs flip and nollie bs 360 over the hip. There are too many tricks to go through, tho... These were a few. Tomas Vintr: It was my first time skating in Croatia, but ive been many times for holidays before... The festival was in Osijek, which is the very east of Croatia, almost by Serbia and Bosna and Herzegovina boarder. I think it used to be quite a gnarly fight zone by the boarder and we saw some houses with bullet shot holes in the walls... Tomas Vintr: Yeah, I saw some Monster shirts and hats on kids. They tore through all my stickers I brought within the first hour! Not sure what kind of distribution we have set up there yet, but the kids are definitely down! And yeah, this year has been crazy. I pretty much started in january and did not stop until now. Im going to Belgium for a World Cup contest tomorrow, then coming back for 6 days and going to the US for the Dew Tour, staying and filming for my videopart in LA for the next 2 months afterwards. Hope everything is gonna work out well.
