Sumac Ridge sparkles by finding balance between crisp and soft notes
Few sparkling wines are made in B.C. and Sumac Ridge produces some of the Okanagan’s best. Like Champagne in both fruit and method (only Chardonnay grapes, here sourced from the South Okanagan; secondary fermentation in the bottle to create the carbonation), it’s one of several quality sparklers from Sumac Ridge, which has been making them for 30 years. It’s soft yet crisp, with green apple and citrusy notes.
